Resumption of Interstellar Colonisation

The colonisation shipyards in the Belt survived the War and were maintained by treaty as common property of all the peoples of Humanity. However, in the new economic reality of the solar system, the Belt and to a lesser extent Mars, and of course cis-lunar space, were the driving economic and therefore political force behind colonisation.

Hundred Hours War: Imperial attack on Mayflower II; the TDF torchship Belisarius was destroyed. Its captain, Aliana Odoyevskaya, was killed, but many of the crew survived in escape capsules.

Colonyships were sent out to Zeta Tucanae, DM+19 279, Beta Comae Berenices and Beta Canum Venaticorum.
