Do not, under any circumstances, spill coffee on a Microsoft natural keyboard. I did so earlier and despite taking the thing apart several times to try to sponge the coffee off and dry it more, the “e”, “t”, backspace and delete keys don’t work. I’m going to leave the membranes out on a table all night to thoroughly dry out. If that doesn’t work, perhaps I’ll just redefine English to not include the missing characters. Meanwhile I’ve reverted to an old keyboard, and I’m finding it hard to type.

If the e and t don't work, how could you write them out in the post? Unless, of course, you have another keyboard, in which case you're in the clear anyway. :-)
